The client requirement was to establish a number of framework agreements with 3rd parties to deliver evidence and guidance and also to develop practice to best implement the evidence.

The assignment requires project management of the full life-cycle procurement process from Expressions of Interest through to selection of the successful bidders. Liaison with the client procurement manager is key to success in the project and the project is being managed to NHS PASA standards.

This assignment requires that formal project management tools be instituted and maintained throughout the life of the project. There are significantstakeholder management issues as there are both 3rd parties eg Dept of Health and internal stakeholders  who are geographically dispersed. All parties have had to be involved in specifying requirements, evaluating bids and selecting successful bidders.
