The methodology incorporated ‘best practice’ Project Management techniques and used in-house experience of actual implementations to assist company staff worldwide. As part of this work, HCL provided implementation expertise on a successful bid  for a $12m project in Mexico. (more...)

A major UK industry association    HCL provided Project Management of the implementation phase of a project to supply a new relationship management system. The project had run into trouble arising from delivery failures by a 3^rd party software supplier. HCL established clear quality requirements with the supplier and set up a User Group comprising 16 user companies to ensure issues were addressed in a coherent way. Within the company the project required change management and business process changes to migrate the 200+ user base from the legacy system onto the new system. (more...)

A major UK industry association   HCL worked with the Director, Finance & Administration and the Membership Department to specify user requirements for a replacement of the current membership system.

An international software company    HCL provided Project Management on a ‘Proof of Concept’ project to develop a leading edge digital Media Asset Management solution. The company was the lead partner in the project consortium comprising more than 10 partner organisations located around the UK, Canada and the USA. Managing these partners imposed considerable logistical burdens which, coupled with tight deadlines, meant that rigorous project and risk management was required. A major UK broadcaster    HCL project managed a nation-wide project that implemented a bespoke IT internal trading system in all trading areas of the organisation. The project team comprised six regional project managers and a team of approximately sixty staff with a budget of £6.5m. (more...)
